Happy Frenchie Friday

Happy Frenchie Friday! Our house has two less Frenchies as Elze’s family picked her up on Monday.

Her last day she enjoyed a nice walk to the park.

I’ve been waking up every morning at 5:30am so I can work from 6-8am uninterrupted. You can see how well this has worked out for me.

The boys enjoyed their last week with Mable.

I don’t understand why she gets all of the attention. I’m the big baby boy!

When I told Romeo to smile. This is the face he gives me.

Let’s just say Nacho has been a busy boy.

We put up a new fence for the Frenchies this week. They seem to enjoy it and I love that there’s still plenty of dirt for them to romp around in and keep their skin healthy. We’ll be prettying it up the next few weeks.

We puppied so hard today while you built the fence.

Mable left us today. Her last morning as my sidekick included playing with her toy and getting into the Kleenex.

Frenchie Friday June 3rd, 2022

Happy Frenchie Friday

Hi all, happy Frenchie Friday! Hope you’ve had a good with your Frenchie by your side. It’s been an adjustment week for us as the boys are not home for the summer. Last week of course was a long weekend.

We had friends over and Jewels enjoyed having a girl around the place to hang out with

The Frenchies enjoyed the extra time just hanging out.

Whatcha got there, mom? A free hand to pet me with?

I’m ready for a movie, popcorn, and belly rubs.

Elze has enjoyed hanging out with Trenton. He’s required more than jelly beans and s’mores for caring for the guest Frenchies and requested $20. I still think it’s a steal of a deal.

Elze has tried to tell us what to do this past week.

She’s also the neighborhood snoop.

It’s been rainy so we’ve had a couple of movie days which wouldn’t be complete without a pillow fort.

Of course there’s been lots of Frenchie snuggles.

Mable is using a new potty training system. At first it was a fun play thing but I think she’s getting the hang of it. Here she is checking it out. I’d say she goes in the box about 70% of the time. That’s pretty good for just having it a few days. I’ll report on it in a future blog.

As we have new pups coming tomorrow, I’ll likely be quite tired this week but plan on keeping you all in touch on how they are doing. You can follow on instagram as well as I tend to post there during the week to keep you all up to date on all going on in our Frenchieland. Frenchie Training:

I have seen the need for behavioral training for Frenchies over the past few months and I couldn’t ignore it anymore and signed up to get certified as a dog trainer. I believe Covid and so many first time dog owners really made a huge impact on our pups. New things are just scarier than they used to be for our previous generation of pups. Make sure to read the article below on how to train your Frenchie to listen. You’re given homework to help. Don’t worry it’s a small step that won’t take tons of time. 🙂

Happy Frenchie Friday

Hi all, happy Frenchie Friday! Apparently I haven’t done much but take pics of Mable. We did start the weekend with a movie with the Frenchies.

This is my favorite thing.

Of course with the nice weather last week we spent lots of time on the deck. This is the life. ~Maddie

Frenchie Friday May 27th, 2022

Happy Frenchie Friday

Happy Frenchie Friday! It’s been a crazy last 7 days as we had what I hope is our last winter here.

The Frenchies liked it for a minute.

Let us in mom! We’re freezing our ears off.

Instead let’s watch a movie. We’re ready. When are you starting the movie mom.

The weather cleared up and Trenton graduated from Kindergarten. We always have Frenchies by our sides to celebrate big events.

Trenton wanted to bring Mable with us to pick up his big brother for the last day of school.

I don’t really see what the big deal is about this little squirt!?! I’m just as cute and snuggly ~ Maddie

But look at this face…the face of an honorary angel.

Elze has also come to hang out with us for a bit while her family enjoys a little time away.

Trenton has been busy helping entertain our Frenchie guests. I pay him in candy and s’mores.

Frenchie Friday May 13th, 2022

Happy Frenchie Friday

Happy Frenchie Friday! Hope all of the human and fur momma’s out there had a happy Mother’s Day! I spent the day enjoying time with Tytan & Trenton and all of the Frenchies. My Mother’s Day weekend started out early as the boys had Thursday & Friday off from school.

I love seeing them play outside with the Frenchies. Nacho especially loves chasing them.

Trenton finds it fun to throw frisbees for them.

Bubbles won as she always does.

We had friends over to play spades on Saturday. Their kiddos, especially Maia love the Frenchies and she particularly loves Jewels and Jewels love little girls.

Dante loves them but he loves to pose for the camera more. 🙂

I can just taste those cookies on my lips. No, Jewels you can’t have chocolate chip cookies.

Sunday morning started Mother’s Day out right with Romeo snuggles. He loves being a Romeo sandwich between mom and dad. This is the life!

We will be watching this little girl for a month. I’ve missed having little pups around and am getting my fill of Frenchie baby snuggles.

DeMarco and Trenton are loving her.

Trenton is training on how to teach other kids how to take care of Frenchies. Course is coming soon. He’s working on the proper hold to keep pups safe.

Frenchie Friday May 6th, 2022

Happy Frenchie Friday

Happy Frenchie Friday! I always can’t believe how fast the weeks go by. It’s another weekend and it looks like in our area we’ll have some nice weather. The Frenchies love sunbathing and I’ll be sure to get some pics. I noticed I didn’t take as many pics as usual this past week but we did enjoy their company for sure.
DeMarco is coaching Tytan and Trenton’s football team and we had the assistant coach and his family over for dinner.

Their son was considerate enough to help Jewels play with the binoculars too. 🙂 Haley, his sister was at first scared of Jewels. They have two huge dogs and we couldn’t figure out why as she doesn’t have a mean bone in her little body. We found out it was because she snorts and she thought she was growling. By the end of the evening though they were best of friends.

We got in the usual morning snuggles which I will never, ever get tired of. I soak it in knowing one day I’ll wish for these days.

Romeo has been begging a little extra lately.

Frenchie Friday April 29th, 2022

Happy Frenchie Friday

Hi all, happy Frenchie Friday! I can’t believe it’s already Friday. All of the Frenchies are waiting for me to complete my tasks so we can start our Frenchie Friday. 🙂 This week I spent most of my time writing up guides: The Ultimate Guide to Adopting a French Bulldog and The Ultimate Product Checklist When Adopting Your Frenchie. Make sure to check them out they are full of great information that can really help you along your Frenchie journey.

The boys are all into skating and everything is done in their skates including walking the Frenchies around. I’m not sure if Maddie was impressed.

Romeo and Jewels enjoyed their morning snuggles and pets.

Several times a day I sit with the Frenchies so they all feel loved. 🙂 Lessie especially enjoyed her snuggle time.

I work standing up, like a pharmacist, with them all surrounding me. Mom, you woke us up. Is it snuggle time yet? Yes, I use these waterproof blankets all of the time. Frenchie Friday April 22nd, 2022

Happy Frenchie Friday

Hi, happy Frenchie Friday, everyone! I can’t believe Thanksgiving is around the the corner. We are actually headed to Friendsgiving here in an hour or so. I am the type that starts Christmas movies the day after Halloween which the Frenchies get fully exposed to them as well.

Jewels woke up early with me to stuff the Easter eggs.

Romeo painstakingly put on the bunny ears.

The boys enjoyed the customary Easter egg hunt. Yes, they are required to wear the bunny ears and super hero capes. We’ve been doing this since they could walk and be involved in the hunts. I’ll have them ready and waiting for them when they’re come home from college for Easter and they will likely be passed down to their own kids. 🙂

After all was settled, the Frenchies and I enjoyed some down time. Just how many Frenchies can fit in one seat with you? The answer…at least six.

Momma, Why’d you move seats? It was so comfy.

Nacho, definitely made himself comfy.

What do you mean I’m a goofball?

Today I wrote about my most special pair of girls, Darcy & Paris. I miss them so but am thankful they were a part of my life. See link for article below. I didn’t seem to get to writing a new article for Frenchies Naturally. I was planning on writing all about Frenchie poo, shape, color, and what it means. Guess it’ll have to wait. 🙂

Frenchie Friday August 6, 2021

Happy Frenchie Friday! I know we missed Frenchie Friday last week.

We’ve had a very unfortunate past 5 weeks with loss of friends and family members. Thankfully we’ve had our Frenchies by our sides to help console us along the way. I do find them quite comforting and enjoy hearing their sweet snorts as they lay at my feet while I work. With all that has been going on we haven’t yet found homes for these three little ones: Casper, Checkers, and Chestnut.

They are the sweetest and I’m enjoying watching them play together in the yard and having them at my feet while I work too. I think they think they are staying but my husband says no. LOL!

They’re like the three amigos and go everywhere with each other finding all of the fun Frenchie toys to play with. Since they are a bit older I am working on potty training and leash training with them.

I wrote a blog this week about how to avoid French Bulldog puppy scams. Make sure to read it if you are in the market for a puppy of any breed. I feel like it’s becoming more and more prevalent and hear story after story of a people being scammed.
