Blue Merle French Bulldogs must have two copies of the blue gene, one to two copies of the gene for tan points, and one copy of the merle gene. Blue Frenchies have brown puppy dog eyes. The merle pattern can affect the eyes and produce blue speckled or fully blue eyes.
